At Abyssinia Beauty School, we believe that the future of cosmetology is in the science of restoration. While our students master the 1,600 hours required for a Washington State cosmetology license, they are also embarking on a specialized journey into clinical scalp health.
A Clinical Approach to Beauty
Our curriculum goes deeper than standard beauty programs. We focus on a personable learning environment where students tap into their full potential by mastering advanced protocols. This includes:
Proprietary DHT Inhibitors: Students learn the science behind our exclusive product ranges designed to address hair loss at the source.
Advanced Bio-Science: Our practitioners-in-training work with even more advanced non-invasive topical hair loss solutions with our 5th-generation pro exosomes and bioengineered growth factors.
Integrated Technology: Training includes the use of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) alongside our proprietary products to support follicular health.
The Road to the Clinic Floor
The journey for our Class of 2027 begins with a rigorous 400-hour foundational phase. Once students maintain a minimum 75% grade in their coursework, they transition to our clinical floor. Here, they apply their specialized knowledge to real clients, bridging the gap between traditional cosmetology and advanced hair restoration.

A Unique Opportunity
As a nonprofit institution, Abyssinia is dedicated to providing opportunities to students who demonstrate discipline, professionalism, and a desire to lead in this industry. Our scholarship program sponsors tuition for dedicated students, allowing them to focus their personal investment on their professional kits and textbooks.
Join the Next Cohort
